To discuss anything that happened 4 billion years ago is kind of pointless because it would only be guess work, I agree with Mr Dawkins on that point!

Live for the moment I say, the past is gone and the future may not happen!

Thanks for using unusual words too Les, you are expanding my vocabulary. I had to look up thrasonical tendencies. Which sounded mighty painful!

I believe we are all born with the knowledge of God, but I also believe that our destinies are preordained. So I think someone BECOMES an agnostic/atheist by choice. Just like someone chooses to follow a different religion from the one their parents follow.

No amount of words or maths will convince someone who believes in God that God does not exist, just as the words and maths of the scriptures will not convince a non believer that God does exist.
