We got the insurance check Monday and tomorrow my parents are going to deposit it in Amqui (they say they dislike the people working in the 1 closest to us) so I should have my part tomorrow. It is a low amount they are giving so my part will be 10000$, I have 20000$ so in total I will have 30000$ which is a very nice amount.

By the end of this year I will decide if I move out soon or stay here longer (only positive from that will be more $ for when i do move out).

Until then I will wait and see if they go on their promised vacation they also want to take. If they say they go but again change their mind I will immediately start the moving out process when that happens.

I thought of you Nancy...Spiders and Tobacco...

I don't normally smoke, but when I get super stressed all bets are off...

I was in the shower in my bathroom with the exhaust fan on and a small spider crawled toward me...I blew smoke on. It scampered away faster than you can blink an eye.

Spiders don't smoke? smile

Jana,

A spider in the shower? Yikes!

It's a shame that you smoke especially when you are stressed.

Pepsi and salt are my addictions. I have to drink Pepsi every day (i even went a few years where i drank it at breakfast) and you do not want to know how much salt I use!

Heya Nancy,

Yep, a spider in the shower.

I don't smoke all the time...I wished I'd never ever picked one up in the first place when I was a teen. It makes things taste like...well...I'll drop it very soon. I guess I need to find another stress relief. I don't like it. I love salt too.

Yesterday I had to deal with dubbing four times, mom made a sarcastic remark one time and she complained about dad one time.

Mom pushed my buttons 28 times and dad 37 times.

Jana,

It's movies when they are made into another language. I hate that so much that I hated it when I was a separatist, that is why I learned English. I do watch movies of languages I do not speak but only when subtitles are available.

Ohhh okay Nancy. May I ask, what is your native language? I took Spanish and French a long time ago...both together. Call me confused. LOL

Jana,

French. I was born and still stuck in Quebec so I basically hate that language because of this. If it weren't for separatists I would not have that feeling towards this language. I was brainwashed as a child to hate everything that is not from here which is the faith of every child born here in families that only speak French.

It must be very hard and like you said confusing trying to learn two languages at the same time!

Hey Nancy,

I thought so, but in this day and age you must ask. The world is a melting pot. I'm sure the French are not the only ones that instill hatred (and not all French do)...

I found Spanish so much easier. It's very phonetic.

Yeah. I was lucky I had the same teacher for Spanish II and French one so when my responses became muddled she understood.
