Two Australian productions have secured North American releases. The feature film "The New Boy", starring Cate Blanchett, will hit US screens on May 23rd. Written and directed by Warwick Thornton ("Sweet Country"), the film was released in Australia in 2023.
"The Narrow Road to the Deep North", a limited series which screened at the Berlin Film Festival, will stream on Prime Video beginning this Friday, April 18th. The WWII drama is based on Richard Flanagan's award-winning novel of the same title and stars Jacob Elordi and Ciaran Hinds. Justin Kurzel ("The Order") directs. Here's a link to the trailer.
