One year. I can try this. That will be the end of next summer.

- I will have made great soil over the winter and by a year i will have a wonderful thriving garden of heirloom vegetables. Either that or I will be spending the really hot months traveling in the RV in the mountains somewhere - this has been a very hard summer - trapped in the RV bc it's too hot to be outside.

- The cottage in the back will be habitable and also the guest room in the house.

- I'll have my meds situation figured out.

- I will have a system down for staying on top of work.

- I will have figured out how to incorporate outdoor activities, yoga and fitness into my daily life

- I will be eating actual food, instead of tortillas with butter for every meal

I can't do any more tonite. I am so upset over my kitty.

Give yourself time to mourn. Set up a little memorial area for your kitty. Somewhere special where you can go to ponder.

I still have Hammie in a wooden box on my mantle. I still miss him. I like having him there to think about. He was a wonderful kitty. I still almost feel like he should be alive, like I could look down and he'd be there next to me. It's hard to reconcile that he is not there.

Your one year goals sound *wonderful*. They are beautiful things to integrate into your life.

We can work on the real food one step at a time. That is an important thing to begin integrating.

Alright. I am going to start different threads to deal with different goals.

here is my food one.

This is a short term goal but if anyone can help me with William I'd really appreciate it.

I started the thread to figure out the med situation in Mental Health.

I am not doing well on my one year goal of mailing 10 books a week out. I have piles and piles of books in my office but it's always a low priority - but then my office stays cluttered.

I will start a separate thread on this, so I can find a technique that works.

Now I will work on some more goal threads.

here is one for planning to take the RV elsewhere next summer.

- fixing up my cottage

- I created a walking thread. I do not know if i need to make individual threads for yoga, running, hiking, paddling and whatever else i might do for mental/physical health. Should I use the walking thread as an all purpose place to account for this? Or what?

Lisa, that is so sad about Hamlet. I know you must miss him a great deal. I look down where William would always be - at my feet, under my desk. Lately John is now occupying that spot, which soothes me.

My goal for the next 12 months is to actually "sale" copies of my 1st book which is released Sept 18, 2010 :-) and have my 2nd book published by next year this time.
