Dear Tea Readers, As part of my journey into wellness, I have not only made tea a daily experience, I now have incorporated a bit of meditation or quiet/silent mindfulness into my routine. Does anyone have experiences to share with meditation and tea-drinking rituals or exercises? Please share with us and me as I am learning. Have a superior day! Mary Caliendo Tea Editor

I'm bad. I make a cup of tea and then go to the computer and an hour later realize I haven't even had a sip of the tea I made.

Hi All, I’m Alfasan. I’m Glad to join the group. Can anybody drop a few links on the current meditation techniques you are using,, and tea you’re drinking. I’m using this free one, https://bit.ly/3vXEsII but I want to see exactly what everybody else is using. Please comment.

Welcome Alfasan - I'm not good at meditation but I am good at drinking tea. I find mint teas are very soothing in the evening. I especially like Peppermint Bark from Bigelow.

Dear Alfasan and Dear Angie,
I practice simple visualization meditation. It is visualizing "good" things, happy things or peaceful things i.e. walking on the beach. I have been super busy with so many things in life, but I have returned to include writing back into my life. Enjoy the rest of your day and I love to include green tea especially in the morning or afternoon and chamomile at night. Cheers.

I love chamomile tea. Not only is it soothing and helps induce sleep, but it also works wonders for digestion. I drink strong, black tea in the morning and try to fit in a cup of chamomile tea in the evening.

Dear Encore DT,
Sounds like a fabulous day! We are kindred in the strong in the morning and the peaceful calm in the evening.
May the summer swallowtail rest gently on a flower near you~

I discovered a wonderful herbal tea by Celestial Seasons - Tension Tamer. I checked their site to purchase online but it is out of stock. I don't know if it is seasonal or just very popular.

Dear Angie,
It must be very popular or perhaps even ...dare I say unpopular in your area. It isn't considered "seasonal". It sounds soothing, although, I personally have never had it, this can be (or a tea similar) a great add-on to your meditation routine. The Tension Tamer contains the Asian herb that calms. see product details below:
Product details (From their box)
Blendmaster's Notes “This soothing blend begins with eleuthero, an Asian herb popular for centuries because of the sense of calm and wellbeing it imparts. We've added cooling peppermint, spicy ginger and tangy lemon flavor to create an uplifting and restorative blend that can bring harmony to any moment of your day.”
Charlie Baden, Celestial Seasonings Blendmaster

It was in my pantry and I tried it and really liked it. I tried ordering it online but as I said, out of stock. I need to check out some of the higher end grocery stores to see what they have in tea. The supermarker I frequent has the basics but doesn't feature specials.

Dear Angie,
How's the Tension Tamer coming along? Is it helping you with meditation or stress-free minutes by yourself? Let me know if you are drinking anything new?

I really like the tension tamer as my last cup of tea in the evening. I have a Christmas tea (full bodied tea with spices) and a Winter spice (herbal).

Dear Angie,
This sounds really relaxing and we stand to get up to another 12 inches of snow perfect time for tea and a book.
