Well, they're not holidays, really, but many of them are fun. Read this along with Jana's article, which I hadn't seen before I started writing mine. It was actually the Google doodle for Saxophone Day that inspired me!

Amusing November Days

Tomorrow (Nov. 7) is National Bittersweet Chocolate with Almonds Day. Yum! I'll be celebrating!

And don't forget Carl Sagan Day coming up on Monday (November 9th). It's a celebration of the birth date of the astronomer and great science communicator who died nearly nineteen years ago. Possibly apple pie would be appropriate for a celebration, following his famous "If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first create the Universe."
