Yeah . . . So I read your post AFTER I tried the class! Although it was different than I was expecting, it wasn't as tough as I thought it would be--based on web searches and YouTube videos (which looked extremely hard!). The people in the class range from ages 19 - 70, and the instructor is great at giving alternate moves for those of us who are tight. I don't follow along with everything--sometimes I'm just getting positioned correctly into a particular move when the class goes on to the next move--but I'm doing what works for me and thus am able to individualize it a bit.
This class, unfortunately, is the only yoga-type class that is available after the work day in our little town. (There's also a spin class, a Zumba class, and something called Barre-lates.) During the summer, though, I plan to take the noon yoga class, which is taught by the same instructor from whom I took yoga ten years ago--when I actually had the flexibility to do everything!
