I haven't been sleeping well and I have gained several pounds - now I know why!

Evening meditation time. With all the issues with opioids, meditation has been shown in studies to be more effective at pain management than many medications. And it's free. Join me for just five minutes tonight. Take that first step! #namaste

Evening meditation time. I am so pleased with my new cyanotype grid I made with bicycle gears. I like the mindful nature of making these and how each one is wholly unique. Join me in treasuring each day.

What are you grateful for today? #namaste

Evening meditation time. The two black kittens have been very helpful today. They climbed all over me during yoga, testing my balance. They aerated 3 of my plants. They tried to enhance an artwork. Good, creative, well-meaning kitties :). #namaste

Evening meditation time. I had a fantastic weekend. There was a Photography show opening on Fri. Sat featured workshops on Pastels and black and white photography, plus two awesome gigs. Today was a fascinating art marketing seminar. I'm just so blessed with the people and support in my life. What are you grateful for today?

I did meditate tonight - I just wasn't at a computer to post about it at the time. I find daily meditation helps immensely with a calm focus to help me get through my tasks.

If you don't currently meditate daily, find a way to do it even for just 2 minutes. Start with 2 minutes. Even if it's 2 minutes when you're going to bed.

Evening meditation time. I'm working in my office and Felix and Zuzu are curled up together in their tower. People keep saying as the grow up that they'll stop snuggling but they are over six months and still love each other dearly :). #namaste

Evening meditation time. I finished revisions on my book, submitted to an art show, and made progress on a number of to-do items. Plus I had time to pet the kitties :). Every day presents opportunities for joy and progress. #namaste
