How is about 6-7 miles RT on a moderate trail? Or we could do something shorter but with cool creek crossings?

It was supposed to be much cooler here by now, averaging in the 80s. So i don't know when the heat will relent. It's still in the 100s for some reason.

What is up with your hip? Do you have to avoid steep trails?

You're only 3.5 hours away from me. Maybe we can plan for something once it drops into the 80's or at least low 90's. It's been insanely hot here too. Will also give me more time to take my hip for a test drive. Not sure what's up with it. Dr. says nothing is wrong. I'm keeping a rehab journal over in exercise if you need something really boring to read : )

It is great that you are working to find options to suit your various needs! Just think that only a short while ago your moving constantly was whittling away your ability to think - and now you have the luxury of planning out your home, planning your environment, choosing which tasks to take on, and dreaming about "fun things" to do in your spare time!

It will all come, give it time to coalesce smile

Lisa, I truly was mentally adrift. I can't believe how much better things are now. I can plan my life that way i want it now. SUCH a relief.

It is very interesting to read these threads as a sort or permanent journal of myself. In the beginning of October i seemed to be doing well. Then towards the end of them month i had a major, terrible crash. I am only feeling better from that now.

I hope how I feel now stays this way. I realize life is not static, but I LIKE feeling this way.

I know what you mean Jilly. Sometimes I'll read something and think "wow, was I that sad?" Or when I'm sad I'll read something and think "wow, was I that happy?" LOL.

It is much better to get indulged in activities that you like to do or used to like, so that diverting mind from the reason of sad behavior can be done by feeling normal.
