The foot thing is okay. it just vibrates and has a heat option, so it's a good thing to have around. My idea of a really good foot massage is more like squeezing and kneading, but i don't think they have a foot thing that does that. smile

Yes, posting here helps, and organizing/cleaning. last night i went on a cleaning spree and attacked the wood surfaces and floors with willful glee.

And then watched a few old eps of the Biggest Loser and used my mini-cycle.

So i actually have some plans with people for this week. I hope things go as planned.

Jilly,

I'm very introverted and love being alone, yet I find that I thrive being around people--as long as I get my required alone time daily. Have you thought about volunteering? Do you like animals, plants? Maybe you could do some work at a nearby animal shelter or community garden. Is there a library where you can join a reading group or something like that?

be well,

Leah

Those are nice ideas, Leah, but what I really want are people to hike with. So far I cannot find a group in my town. The closest is about 50 minutes away.

Jilly,

I so wish we lived closer to each other! I love to hike - especially in the mountains (quite a challenge in Florida!) and to waterfalls.

I wonder how long it would take me to drive out there... that sounds lovely!

We'll most likely be going to the GA/NC (and maybe VA) mountains in late October for the fall foliage, so hopefully we'll be able to do some hiking there. And if I can find a way to get lost in those "hills" I shall!! cool lol

That sounds lovely! We will have some great golden leaves here once it cools down. The Sycamores are spectacular.

I want to hike with you! I'm just down the road but can I wear my stilletos (ha ha just kidding). Seriously we should hike. We can drive up there once it cools down. Do you like kids? If not I can rent him for the day and bring Jus instead ; )

That sounds wonderful. Have you hiked to Bell's Crossing along Beaver Creek? Ooo, or maybe we can hike down to Fossil Creek!

Whatever you want as long as it's not 13 miles (my hip can't take it right now). I've only been to Sedona twice. We hiked Oak Creek Canyon and Cathedral Rock the long way from Buddha Beach. Have been dying to get up to your area forever now. When is a good time to go?
