What is Spirituality and is it real? To me, Spirituality is just being at peace with oneself. Even people who are atheists can find this spirituality with something that they love to do. Does anyone have any other thoughts on this?

I agree with your definition msac 9312. I know atheists that are very spiritual people. I believe that if someone is content with their life, with their belief system or lack thereof they have mastered a way of living that many others only dream of.

Spirituality can but does not always have to be bundled with religion. It is more a state of being I think. Maybe it is like when we see something of beauty or are inspired by a particular song.. It touches something down deep inside that we cannot fully explain and yet it can change a mood from sadness to peace or joy. It touches our spirit inside. These are just my assessments????,,,dave

For me spirituality had nothing to do with religion. It has to do with our minds.

Agnostics,atheists can easyly be spiriritual persons.Spirituality comes from the MIND.No god needed.
