Is the healthcare profession performing too many medical tests on patients?

Or not nearly enough?

Hi Jilly,

Great question! When I first approached this subject I wondered how there could be too much of a good thing in this case. I am certain every person who has had multiple tests is proof that we cannot boil life down to dollars.

What emerged as I continued working is what I hope does not widen the gap between those who can afford a first and subsequent tests and those who cannot even get an initial health screening due to lack of access to the system.

I am left feeling that healthcare is on its way to becoming a privilage and not a fundamental right.

I only wish I knew the solution!
