Today on facebook, I was on the child free page and came across some funny child-free posters. One said "I love the term 'we're expecting' when it comes to pregnancy because it makes it sound like there's more than one outcome. Yeah, we're expecting a baby. But it could be a velociraptor." I laughed so hard when I saw this. I couldn't help but think not only does it make it sound like there's more than one outcome, it makes it sound like both the man and the woman will be giving birth -> "We're both expecting a baby around the same time." It just sounds weird. Another one was showing the back of a van with those little stick on mommy, daddy, and kids window decorations. Under that it said this: "Useless Information: Nobody at the red light cares how many times you've forgotten to take your birth control pills." Has has anyone else come across any of these you couldn't help but to laugh at?

Well, every time I hear of a gal being preg, they say "they're pregnant" or "we're pregnant".....WHAT???? Since when do men give birth? GEESH! wall

When I relate to someone about a pregnancy, I say the gal's name ONLY. smile

When did this craziness come about? I never heard this until a few yrs ago.

Yesterday I came across a picture of a digital pregnancy test and in the results area it read "Lol, ur fu****" and I just burst out laughing and couldn't help but follow that up with: "Oh look, It's the magic wand that makes men disappear!" Creampie- I also hear the phrase "We've been trying to get pregnant for a while now..." and it just makes me laugh. Since when do men get pregnant and bear children? (not including that whole pregnant man hysteria of a few years ago when the woman had a sex change but got pregnant before she was completely finished with the procedure.)

Hi,

In a nutshell, that pretty much explains the whole idiotic " courting, mating, birth process ".

I Love Making Love and I Like Having Sex and I'm Very Romantic -- But the whole shebang and bastardization and commercialization and insecuritization of the core of a person's being is down right criminal -- toss in the Puritan "Naughty but Nice" gag me with a sphork and you get a 45min. canned ham or canned heat birth, life and death of a romance and the sick world wide titilation of the tension between the priciples on the screen because if they hooked-up then the series would end !!!

Yeah, sub-conscious sex-ploitation words are even used in my expressions !!

Buy these products, dress like this, talk like this, have this kind of job, these kind of friends and you can have all the wild animalistic sex you can handle behind closed doors !!!

All the 1960's and mass media did was open the door !

They should have left the damn thing closed !!

Now, sex, sex, sex, sex, but Nobody wants to wake a 3 or 5am and go to work at 6am to Love a human being !!!

Oh, not to mention that no one wants to offer stable work to either gender for stability of the home... oh no !!!

Sex is selfish, babies are selfless...

I'll stay selfish and not impose my wayward ways on anyone thank you very much !!!

Ooo.. check out the bouncy boobs and the come chuck me heals making that booty sway... ooops... there's the baby cart... look the other way !!!

Double Standard BS.

For Both The Men and The Women !!!

Why can't the hormones thing be switch on around 27 or so ??!!!

Sex is the greatest thing that ever happened to you !!!

The most violent form of love possible !!!

Where's the romantic movies of changing diapers and running out of money ?

Oh... they don't exist ?

Too bad ... so sad ...

By the way, women are very guilty often as well when it comes to pregnancy, of using the child and the pregnancy as a tool to keep men around. I can't even believe that some women think that getting pregnant will make anyone stay with them. My older sister got pregnant TWO TIMES ON PURPOSE just to keep the kid's father around and both times he left her. I don't blame him for that even if it's terrible he can't take responsibility for his own actions, I blame her. Granted, he did eventually show up and get back together with her. But, those two are both idiots if you ask me. If any woman is banking all her hopes in getting pregnant to keep a man around, you're in for a rude awakening. Not everyone is going to own up just because you think they love you. It takes character and integrity to stick around and own up when you've created another life.

Amen to that SamB !!

My Dad had the guts to stick around.

I feel somewhat ashamed that I didn't follow in his footsteps, but I feel that soooo much empathize is placed upon money and marketing is done so well to get the kids to manipulate the parents that although I wanted spiritual stuff more than material -- I would have made a heck of a dad because of the example.

However, there are so many vast changes going on with 'funny money' in today's society that it's difficult to be honest and hard-working because they just kick you to the curb without a pension now-a-days.

It's not an excuse, and I don't mind long, hard hours of work but society is slanted toward education but even that has become a scam.

The bulwarks of society are crumbling -- honest pay for honest work -- religious fallacy -- governments -- everything is so confusing.

But I do know the type of girls you are talking about and unfortunately the axiom is somewhat hard-wired into our genetics:

Men give Love for sex, and women give sex for Love.

That right there kind of throws a monkey wrench into the works of a happy tomorrow !!

I saw a great Childfree version of that car sticker with the stick figure family - it was two stick figures (the married couple) and then just a giant sack of money where the kids were suppposed to be! Loved it!! Maybe Baby, Maybe NOT!

haha, that's the best one I've heard of so far. I also came across a picture of a stork carrying a ton of babies and commented on it: "That stork must be on his way to Mrs. Duggar's [censored]."

This is one of my favorites--a poster of a man and a woman jumping in the air in front of a sunset. The bottom says: Childfree: Yes, We Do Know What We're Missing.
