This was written sometime back in April, 2011. I understand we've had the CO (mountains quake) and just today Vancouver Canada

Vancouver 6.4 quake

Ithink there was a quake off the coast of CA, but I don't think that's the one I'm getting.

Anyone else having "quake" impressions?

I'm not getting anything in the near immediate future, but I've been preoccupied with home matters. It does still feel pending though.

Plus the quake didn't feel "off" the coast. More, land-wise. Like right up through it.

I wonder if this is the one I feel will occur some where near the C.E.R.N (big bang experiment)though always felt that wouldnt happen until next year. Also found it really scary when I read about the faster than light particles they think they have come across at CERN, these aparently where also discovered some where in Japan, though i cant find much information on this

It kind of seems familiar, but I can't place it.

Some time ago a friend of mine said they were doing an experiment to see how fast something could go, but they were also toying around with cloning.

But anyway, I feel a lot..a lot of the earthquakes have to do with underground things - but they're ones induced, not naturally occuring.

Speaking of these earth changes, has anyone else had dreams of large areas of land (perhaps islands) being buried by the sea - with horrific loss of life? Tsunamis seem to be the cause, but the rising sea levels also concern me.

I haven't had dreams of sinking islands, but I have had dreams of lands close to the water's edge breaking off.

Earthquake up and through the mountians, especially within CA and CO.

The wierd one about CO...ok? This one's not something I'm familiar with. There's like a quake, but in the dream, there is stuff burried by the gov. underneath somewhere.

So, it's kind of like waste but nuclear level or a storage of nuclear stuff. There's this quake and (this is in CO..the dream anyway) and the quake shakes up the stuff they burried underground, so the damage is a great deal worse than had it just been a quake alone.

I've also had a dream where the atmosphere was hazey. All around it was foggy, dank, like before a storm. There were water pipes coming up through the sides of buildings. I have no idea where that was but if I had to just go by feelings, it was NYC.

This was posted sometime early Oct. I remember writing it too. I was, for the most part taken or focused on CA. I know they have quakes quite frequently. So, what is more pressing to me anyway, was the order of quakes coming through, starting with the quake that ran between islands (Japan) and HI, which I think we've just had here recently, but I'm not positive.

Having said all that, this quake is closer, but it's not the one I've felt sort of gaining momentum, is the best way to put it.

The one I'm getting runs up land...so I'm taking that to mean more inland and that feels about right and goes up, instead of E and W.

For now that's really all I'm getting though.

Elleise did you see the TV series FlashForward? Or read the book (which I did - did not get round to watching it on TV but found the book interesting). C.E.R.N. is central to the plot there. It sits between France and Swtizerland and is the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, primarily looking at particle physics, creating experiments where particles collide and using these to extrapolate info. about the wider world. The acronym comes from the French for CERN - Conseil Europeen pour la Recherche Nucleaire. For further info see CERN Website.

Did these guys do something with either splitting particles or having to do with the speed of particles...maybe being faster than light?

It's one of those thing right on the tip of your tongue or an itch u just can't scratch.

Earthquakes I've never been much for as far as focusing on them, but I've had a recuring dream and at my own humiliating expense, lol, find to this day a little unsettling.

When I think to CA, I think oceans, sunbathing and picturesque backgrounds. The last thing I think about or dream about is skiiing.

HAving said this, we've seen an array of earthquakes across the globe. And, I feel something on a larger scale brewing.

The dream I had was CA. There was a ski resort or part but it was to my right or East of the CA ocean. The poles were green and had knobs in them, like someone could climb them. There was an earthquake and cables were snapping.

The quake came from the East but somehow initiated something in southern CA and worked it's way up but splintering.

In the dream I was an observer, someone was showing me this and all of the sudden the chaos froze in a single frame. Across the screen of the dream read, "Pending doom."

Anyone familiar with southern CA, are there skiing resorts, say having to do with santa ana winds/area? If so, what are they like?

I was out in CA a few years ago, in Palm Springs and LA. I remember stopping at a ski resort in the San Bernadino mountains -- nearby -- and was struck by the fact, it's etched in my mind in fact, that many of the skiiers were not bundled up because it was so sunny and warm out. A beautiful place.

It's less than 100 miles to LA; this area is east of LA.

The name? Hmmm. Bear Mountain or Big Bear Mountain I believe. Don't know about the Santa Ana winds, but San Jacinto is somewhere nearby, as in the song by Peter Gabriel.
