My Friend a such their is no way by which you can make your hair permanently straight. Their are various treatments available by which you can make your hair straight but only for some specific time duration.

hair Straightening is a chemical process that is very lengthy and it also damages the hair. rate of hair-fall increases after it and you have to be very cautious. I got it done 7-8 years back and I don't recommend it to anyone. Natural wavy hair are the best and if you want to get it done for any special occasion temporary straightening is the best, but that also shouldn't be done too much

Yes, hair straightening is a chemical process. So is using a curling iron, flat iron, etc. The heat breaks the hairs bond which allows the hair to be reformed into a different shape.

Chemical hair straighteners do cause some damage, just as coloring the hair causes damage. Getting it professional done reduces the risk, as does finding someone who has experience and knows what they are doing.

I have clients who come into me ever 4-5 weeks for chemical straightening. They don't have excess hair loss, or hair damage. I only touch up the new growth area and never go into the already straightened area.

It's all in how it is done, the education you have for your clients and also the home care.

I think you can't "permanently" do that.

Hi Angela, You use relaxer that frequently? Doesn't it damage your hair? Do you have some hair treatment afterwards?
