Great info and I would like to add the importance of "talking" with other UNEMPLOYED folks.

I know the 2 years I was on unemployment I found out about "stimulus" programs because of some other unemployed person.

It seems that with the unemployment offices being overloaded and understaffed, you cannot get a hold of anyone by phone and the website really does not supply needed info.

The Stimulus Program I signed up for paid me $10 an hour for 40 hours. Yes, it was temporary, but it put my unemployment on hold and then I went back to my unemployment when the temp job ended.

There is so much free programs for training out there too.
