Having looked at the forum you posted in before this you seem to have a very stressful life. Relaxation exercises combined with an exercise such as swimming or yoga may also be helpful. At least with these forums you can get some support and potentially useful advice

I suppose that once you factor in my family it is stressful. I'm so used to the bumps and obstacles of my life that I'm able to steer around them or hit them full speed ahead and keep moving. Finding quiet time is impossible at times. I took a hot bath last night and used some audio for hypnosis and deep relaxation. No sooner than it ended and I was feeling wonderful did all 4 boys burst in the bathroom to tell on each other for something. Those few fleeting moments were heaven though.

Perhaps a bolt for the bathroom door?

Yes, I was rather irritated with myself for not locking it, however my little darlings would have screamed through the door at me. Ahhh motherhood...

I so know what this is...I had it.

Best way to describe it is I'm a natural Clairvoyant/psychic. Exciting, perplexing, frightening at first filled with angst after 15 years of feeling and seeing things other people either didn't want to see or just didn't and I became angry about it and shoved it way down.

Well, it's energy as well as gift/curse. When you shut it down either intentionally or inadvertantly that energy builds up. Kind of like being constipated. Sorry, it's the only thing I could come up with.

So, now think of it as you wuold a dam. If someone were to remove that dam all of the sudden what would happen to the areas around it? That's kind of what's going on. The weight of the energy is punching through the wall and affecting your physical and emotional surroundings.

Your example makes perfect sense. I'm hoping to open the flood gates soon and get back what I seem to have lost.

It is hard when you feel you are amongst people that just 'don't get it' and you can't find understanding help. Hopefully meeting like minded souls on forums like this is reassuring for you.

I can provide spiritual advice sessions via email for people that want to pay for private and confidential help, so if you feel you would benefit from my support do contact me at newage@bellaonline.com

About that... Wouldn't it be better to gradually open your perceptions and be able to manage what you perceive rather than have it all come at you in an overwhelming rush?

Thank you Lauren. I may do that. And ninja you are right. I've been working on slowly getting back into everything. If I suddenly begin feeling the things I once sensed I may not sleep at night for a while and should I awaken a new ability I don't want to be overwhelmed.
