Not remotely possible...Because the hair that grows out of your head will be as curly as the hair you had before you went straight...

You can't "permanently" do that, but you can semi-permanently do it with a hot process silkening or straightening/relaxing.
There are a couple processes out there like the CHI system or Japanese Straightening.
This relaxes the hair and then a ceramic hot iron is used to straighten the rest of the way. Then the hair is neutralized and the hair is as straight and smooth as it can possibly be done unnaturally. There is no permanent option because the hair grows. The new hair that grows in will be wavy or curly as it grows out and you can get the process repated as you grow out more hair.

CHI is a brand name from Faroque. It stands for Cationic Hydration Interchange, and it is a technology they developed.
Japanese Straightening is a process, as is the Chi. Chi also makes ceramic tourlamine flat irons as well.

Hi Jase,
The CHI technique sounds very interesting. Is there any permanent damage to my hair if I choose to undergo this treatment?

your hair will be permanently straight after a japanese/CHI/Hot process relaxer. The only hair that will be wavy/curly is the new hair that grows back in.
The damage is the same as with any chemical relaxer. If properly done, there should be minimal damage done. It is best to research the person who is going to perform your chemical services.

Hi Jase:
How often should a relaxer be put in?
I put mine in at home every 6 weeks for the "new" growth being careful not to overlap the older hair.
But I have heard 8 weeks and 12 weeks????
