One of the primary reasons why so many people avoid workouts or exercise is their workout routine is just boring.
Same exercises, same sets, reps, and type of weight or machines. It's so predictable and after a while your body plateaus from lack of stimulation so your brain checks out and says what's the point. Why continue with something that is getting you nowhere.
Our bodies are not designed for boring repetitive motion so the more dynamic your workouts and exercise plan the more likely you will be to stick to it long term. That means changing things around at least every 2-3 weeks. This takes some planning but after a while it just becomes second nature.
