Thanks for the tip about the hashtag. I mostly post links to my new knitting blog posts so I put the link in first to see how much wording I have to play with.

It would be helpful to me, I think, to put #knitting or something, in there.

yes, I agree that it's usually helpful to use 1 or two, especially with niche blogs.

Remember you also do not need to use hashtags. You can just enter knitting in the twitter search box on twitter itself. That way everyone talking about twitter shows on your timeline.

Then you can save that search and click on it whenever you want to see what the twitterverse is saying about knitting.

Since I use Twitter directly these days, I have a bunch of saved searches that I check each day, like RunPee. :-)

I do the latter. Most people drop extra words in their tweets even if they have the characters for them, so they can be easily retweeted. So in your case, I'd do this:

Star Wars Movie Review - Great Wookies, Luke is feeble [link]
