One of the worst decisions made by this admininstration.

Kris W. Kobach,professor of constitutional law at the University of Missouri, offers 5 reasons that trying terrorists on American soil is a bad idea.

EXCERPT: "Attorney General Eric Holder's decision to try Khalid Sheik Mohammed and four other Guantanamo Bay detainees in civilian federal court in New York City is the latest in a long series of missteps in the war against radical Islamist terrorism.

"KSM -- the notorious, self-proclaimed mastermind of the 9/11 attacks -- and the other accused terrorists will no longer face trial in military commissions, which the US government has historically used for such cases. The administration's decision is a blatantly political one -- intended to placate the ACLU and the radical Left -- that jeopardizes the interests of the nation."

This is such a shame. These, the architects of 9/11, have the possibility of being released from a court (from what I've heard) right next to ground zero. If the case is thrown out do to our "barbaric" "torturous" ways of depriving a terrorist of sleep, these monsters will get to walk right out onto the streets of NYC. They will probably counter- sue the government for emotional distress and walk away with millions of tax- payer money.

Why?

This is so unecessary and the administration has not yet provided a reason as to why it needs to be done like this. I have listened to the President's and they do not address this issue.

They should not be given such visibility on the world stage and they will be given the same rights as an American citizen being tried for a crime. This administration does not have the word terrorism or terrorist attack in their vocabulary so, in their minds, it's ok to do it this way.
