I am anxious to know, what do you think of the ending? Everything ending so nicely. Alan's gone Reva and Josh are back together, and the Four Musketeers reunite.

I really liked it but I wondered why Vanessa and Alex weren't in the final scenes at the picnic. Surely it would only have been a matter of working an extra couple hours-lol.

I like that Frank and Blake ended up together too.

I've watched Guiding Light on and off since I was a child. It's very strange to think it just isn't there in the afternoon anymore if I want to watch it. The Price is Right? Give me a break! Not the kind of show you DVR so you don't miss it.

I've read that now that GL is gone, As the World Turns is now the lowest rated and probably next on the chopping block.

I heard that too about ATWT. I haven't watched it in years but lots of the same people are on it.

I've watched Guiding Light since the 1950's when it was only 15 minutes long! The last few years I haven't watched it much because I didn't care for the changes they made to save money but it was a great soap in its day!

I got a CBS soap magazine for a plane trip recently and it had blurbs from many of the old characters of GL, favorite plots and all. There were really some good days on that show. Too bad they didn't keep the old characters more active and give them good stories. I think if they'd kept it going like the ending, buliding stories around some the the older characters, it wouldn't have folded like it did.
