Great salad today. In my endeavor to stay as lo carb as possible and be vegetarian, I discovered Quorn "chicken breasts" with no meat and no soy. I cooked on up, cut it up and put it on salad..Mixed lettuce, shredded cheese, grape tomatos, cut up fake chicken topped with artichoke parmesan dressing. mmmmmmmm

Another cool salad today...
Mixed lettuce, artichokes, fresh mushrooms, olives, sprouts, shredded cheese, and a scoop of cottage cheese topped with roasted red pepper salad dressing

Those are great salads granny! We had salad stuff all ready in the fridge in our Seattle house but then forgot to bring them out! I suppose we'll have them tomorrow for lunch smile

Salad for today! Mixed greens, olives, raisins, carrot slices (came with the mixed greens), pine nuts. Simple, easy, tasty! Ranch dressing on top - a mix of Ken's steak house and Kraft ranch as I ran out of one halfway through.

It's a gorgeous day here in Massachusetts, the sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, a gentle breeze is blowing smile

My first ever salad this year with produce from my garden! We had a DELICIOUS big cucumber that we plucked off a cucumber growing on the back porch. I ate some in my salad and the rest is going into our soy sauce ginger cucumber blend I always adore.

Highly recommended - grow your own veggies on your back porch! I'll post cucumber photos shortly!

Is anyone else growing salad fixings?

I'm thinking about container gardening next summer. Too much school this year to think about it. Looks great though! My salad today was real different for me. Mostly lettuce and spinach and a variety of sprouts and olives. The health food store I go to had a container of mixed sprouts..alfalfa, chickpea, radish, peas sunflowe, lenti, wheat and azuki. They all came in one huge package called super salad. They were great. I made sure some of each kind made it into the salad mmmm

My salad for today has the last of that cucumber we harvested, plus little tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, almond slivers, olives, and carrot strips. Ranch dressing.

I can't wait for our tomato plants's tomatoes to start turning red! They're really close!

Bob also hasn't started the new sprout batch yet smile

Salad today was very yummy! Delicious with fresh little tomatoes off the back porch. It began with a salad mix with radish and carrots and peapods, then the little tomatoes, sliced almonds, mixed cheese, a few raisins and ranch dressing.

Are you guys eating your salads? What's in them?
