This is Susan Boyle--she is a 47 yr old spinster from Scotland. An unemployed charity worker who has lived with her cat Pebbles the last two yrs since her 91-yr old mother Bridget died. She says she was born with slight brain damage, was teased as a child in school, has never dated and never been kissed. Look at their faces before she sings--they are mocking and have already judged her by her looks and age! Then notice how after just 4 notes of the song she has the whole audience on their feet! I cried thru the whole thing--her voice is like an angel! And the song she sings is bittersweet--it is about someone losing their dream of what they wanted their life to be because of life's hardships...
She is already scheduled to be on Oprah and Larry King and she was on the morning shows this past week. Her song on You Tube has reached more than 25 million! Fans have set up a website for her--all in just one week!
