Jilly - you're right that it seems like a "luxury" to relax but really it is very necessary. It should be a fixed part of your day just like eating food!

Dianne - try actually scheduling yourself for something you enjoy like "read the book ROOTS" or "take a 2 hr bubble bath" or whatever specific thing you really enjoy.

Kimmie - especially if you've been sick, you need to take it easy! You don't want to make your health even worse!!

Thanks Lisa and Dianne. You all are right cry and I know this, I just gotta' get over this "everything in order thing" quick or I am going to lose my mind.

At least everything else will be in order. Huh? wink

I just got up a few hours ago to chime back in on a few topics, but am now heading back to bed to rest some more so that I can be ready for taking care of the family by Monday. Thanks for caring and sharing ladies. Good night.

I have been working hard to make progress every day while not getting caught up in "busy". I try to focus on a few key things each day and to do them really well. So far I think it is working!

Is anyone else making progress? What are your roadblocks?

I've been taking a few clues from everyone on this question and I have to admit, me focusing (ooohhhh, sooo hard) on a few things at a time, giving them my whole attention is really helping me. Thanks everyone.

I agree completely Kimmie - it really does help to give your attention to something, get it done well, and then be able to move on to something else. It's very satisfying, and it usually gets the job done far better than if you were multitasking.

That's not to say you have to do everything at once! I am a firm believer in breaking a project into small chunks and working on one chunk at a time smile

There can be no relaxing for me right now. It's getting down to the wire with moving into the RV...still so much to do. But I did take a bath last night and watched some Veronica Mars with Dan when my brain got too fried.

I really look forward to next month. There will still be much to do in getting our new lives in order, but I plan to take lots of time to be idle as well.

Stress can affect your body as much as food and exercise. It is a combination of emotional and physical pressures; it can either help you with challenges and problems or make them many times worse. Stress effects are depending on how you handle it. You must understand where it coming from and understand your situation for you apply the right stress-management. I manage stress and enhance my well-being by going to Spa. One of the best management I consider to get rid the stress. Relaxing and de-stressing myself in health spa. Before, I easily get tired from doing my routine work every day and easily worn-out by stress. I exercise and involving to any sports still not enough, I am still looking for something to live a stress free and healthier lifestyle.

Jilly - I am sure you will get through it! And then you will have an oasis of calm, being able to go wherever you want, relax as much as you wish! It'll be wonderful!

Taniax - you are exactly right, stress can have HUGE effects on your body! People think of stress as just a silly mental thing, but it has very real consequences on our muscles, our digestion, our metabolism, and much more.

Exercise is definitely great in helping to reduce stress! Even a quiet walk for 10 minutes can be very stress-reducing.

I personally do not have any downtime really, but I sometimes put off other things to give myself a break. I usually think that the weekends are going to be my time to relax, but really I am running around and doing more work than on an average weekday.
