My 3 yo suffers from KP (chicken bumps) on her arms. Her upper arms get so bad they feel rough. She complains its itchy. All of the RX creams either do nothing or burn. Over the counter stuff that I've tried so far hasn't worked. The KP duty cream/buffing wash is supposed to be good, but its pricey. Reviews so far appear mixed.

Anyone tried this stuff? If so, did it work at all?

try an olive oil and kosher salt or sugar scrub. You can make it yourself and use witch hasel and eucalyptus.

I use that on my rough skin and psoriasis. I even have KP on my legs that I use it on. Makes em smooth. Other thing I use is a shea butter or avacado oil cream on my legs to keep them smooth and moisturized so they don't get cracked

Jase - do you have a recipe/formula for the olive oil scrub? I'm using an olive oil based body butter on her after baths for moisturising. It helps with the flakiness, but not the overall bumps.

I use 1 cup of salt or sugar to 1/4 cup of oil and adjust to the consistency I like. I then add about 20 drops of eucalyptus and some witch hazel. Then scrub scrub scrub. Be sure not to get it on the bottoms of feet since it is an oil. or wash well ;0)
