A brief message but need to know. A woman here on the boat is wearing Tarte Lash stain mascara and says it is not tested on animals. It lasts four days through dives, showers and everything!

Do you have a list of companies that DO NOT test on animals and is Tarte one of them? Also need to check out Laura Mercier as being cruelty free and NO TESTING!

Yes, actually I do have a list. I am HUGELY interested in cruelty-free products. In fact, I don't buy drugstore makeup b/c most of those companies still do animal testing.

Let me look for my links on this. PETA has THE list.

But in the meantime, if you look on the Sephora website, you will see a great starter list. None of the companies they sell do any animal testing. So check on Sephora.com and you can feel good about any of those companies.

Also, anything you can find at Whole Foods, Lush, Origins, Aveda and the Body Shop is cruelty-free.

Oh, and yes, Tarte and Laura Mercier are available at Sephora, so they are cruelty-free. Yay!

Tarte makes some great stuff, and they are now adding antioxidants to their newest products - exciting news!
