That is very important for everybody to do! Salads can be SO tasty if you keep basic salad ingredients in the house.
I like to have bagged lettuce, olives, bacon bits and dressing as my base. Our garden is now creating TONS of mini tomatoes that are SO delicious. I highly recommend that every one of you get a little tomato plant for your window. They are super easy to care for and you get oodles of fresh red tomatoes for FREE. Fully organic too
In addition I buy cheap cheddar cheese, shredded, in white and yellow varieties. I mix them together and put them into a ziplock bag. That way I can shake that out over the top - calcium is good for you, and the salad is extra tasty.
It only takes maybe 5 minutes total to make my salad from start to finish and it really is quite tasty!
