Claybird, that IS scary! you should be so proud of yourself! It is really difficult to leave a steady job to try something you're not sure will work. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to everyone who took that leap! It really is amazing what we can achieve when we take the chance and go for it.

I quit a very nice paying programming job in order to work from home on my dream - BellaOnline. I was very happy making less money and being much more relaxed. I am so content now! It's all about your priorities in life. I am thrilled being at home every day, working from home, and doing things I believe in.

I definitely want to encourage people to go after their dreams. I'm not talking "mansion and a yacht" dreams but "Find a way to write about dogs and make money to live on doing it" types of dreams. If you sit down and really think about what's important, it's amazing what results you get.

I live in sweats and don't have a lot of jewelry, but I am so happy inside smile

Well scary or not. My husband left me when I was 7.5 months pregnant. I had to move house and had a 5yr old and 3 yr old. I had to live with other people I hardly knew. Whe I was 8.5 months pregnant I travelled across the country arriving in Melbourne. One hour later my water broke and I had to find a doctor and hospital. I had the baby that night. 10 days later I travelled across the country to get my other children.

Scariest change ever? At 59 years old, quitting my job, getting married, and going full-time rv'ing. Been 5 years now. Best thing I ever did.

I'm in the middle of a real rough spell financially and career. These stories you have shared help to see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I might just get there after 2 long years.

Thank you, Carennedy, I'm so glad my stories offered you a bit of hope! BELIEVE ME--- I understand how tough the workplace is right now. Things are tough at companies all over the U.S., which is affecting my company as well. I wish you the best of luck.
