I thought last night of the posts here, and it caused me to chuckle somewhat resignedly as I realized there was such a skew of perspective.
All of the movies named in this thread are at least 25 years old, a couple near or over 40.
A couple others I have thought of are around 25 years old.
Where are the hot pocket rockets of modern films such as ... well, hell, I don't know the new driving action films because they are made for a much different audience.
Heck, the only new motorcycle movie I know is "Wild Hogs" (I have heard it is quite funny) and even that is about old farts on motorcycles.
'Ah, jeunesse, jeunesse ... as the poet says.'

Don't forget Ghost Rider, which had some very cool special effects.

Not a movie, but on TV: Spike in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel series often stole a motorcycle or scooter to catch demons and fight evil. I just LOVE Spike. Him and his black leather duster.

There are allot of great motorcycles movies. One is the movie on Hell Angels, another is Beyond the Law, and Demolitionst, etc. But my favorite is Beyond the Law with Charlie Sheen and Michael Madsen. Elaine

Also How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, which i mentioned in it's own thread.
Um, again, on TV, one of Carrie's boyfriends in Sex and the City drove a motorcycle (Burger). She got pretty mad when he drove her to a red carpet event on it.

Michelle, so true!!! There was something so alive and soulful about Spike, even before he got his soul. He was devastatingly insightful and witty, and when he loved you it was all the way. As opposed to Angel, who could barely be bothered to look up from his brooding.
