Have you ever been stuck in a job you hate, but you couldn't leave? I'm looking for creative ways to fall in love with work........anyone have any suggestions?

I've been stuck in a job I hated but I quit! Actually, at one time I was working as a surgical tech. It was such a stressful job and made more stressful by the attitudes of the doctors I worked with. One day I just gave my notice and in 2 weeks I went to work as a waitress in a Mexican restaurant.

According to Law of Attraction teachers, you shouldn't stay in jobs you hate as it robs you of creative energy and a love of life. I know that's true for me.

That's great that you quit -- you're lucky to have that option.

I've never been able to turn I job I didn't like into something I did like. I worked at a chicken factory once, pulling guts out of chickens, and boy did I hate that job! I quit.

I'm writing an article about creative ways to love your job, and I'm stuck! Maybe there AREN'T any ways to love your job??? But that would mean either you hate your job, or you quit. No middle ground?

I read in one of Wayne Dyer's books about how, if you just can't leave the job you're in, to learn to at least be happy in it, but can't remember which one it was.

One of his suggestions, and others say as well, if you really hate your job, at least find something you love to do on a part time basis and maybe it will grow to the point where you can give up the job you hate.

Spending 40+ hours a week doing something you really hate is a spirit killer. However, if it's just a matter of wishing you were walking on the beach on some island as opposed to working at all, maybe you just need to find some fulfillment in other areas of your life.
