Oh, Deb, that's just what happened to me! No reaction when I tested a spot on my ankle but once it was all over, it was horrible.

Hi all,
I don't know about you girls, but just hate shaving my legs. What's worse is I live in Vermont where it is "shaving optional" for women. While I can't go there, I do love my Intuition shaver. It has a rotating head coupled with a most wonderful cake that distributes a lovely slick shaving lotion. I dumped my
Venus for the Intuition.

As for the shaving bumps or rash...I discovered that if you apply an over the counter pimple cream to the area just after you shave, you will get no rash. However, these cremes can bleach your clothing (which I found out the hard way!) So, if you shave at night or even in the morning and can wait til night to apply it and don't care much about whether your jammies get stained, that would be a good time to apply it as long as you shower it off in the morning so it doesn't affect your day clothes.

I actually use men's non-disposable razors. I find they work much better than womens. And Lisa has a great point, they're good for the environment.

I have a Venus and it seemed OK - but somehow we were going on a trip or something and got a bunch of disposable ones for the trip and I just kept using them. I didn't really think about it other than a vague thought that they would be sharper and easier to use somehow. Which I admit makes no sense smile So I'm going back to the Venus shortly as soon as I finish off these other ones.

Aha! Yours is a five blade! (I just looked it up). Mine is only a three blade. Maybe I should try it - it's really that much better?

I work for a marketing company and we just started promoting the Schick Quattro for Women. I have been using it since high school (obviously since way before I started this project for them.) I have loved it ever since I tried it for the first time. The shave comes so clean and lasts for at least 3 days. It's nice not having to worry about shaving everyday. How often do you guys find yourself shaving?
