I think Chamomile tastes apple-y. It reminds me of summer, but I have no clue why :S

Hi Heather,
I usually drink the Twinings Pure Camomile (that's how the company spells it), They claim that is all that is in it pure golden camomile. To me it does not taste like anything going down, but leaves an aftertaste. It's a good sleepy time tea, gets you relaxed, doesn't taste like much though.

I've always liked Celestail Seasoning's "Sleepytime Tea" which is chamomile and spearmint.
I'm not crazy about chamomile by itself, but I love the spearmint taste.

Michelle, I actually have some spearmint in my pantry now, just a couple bags left, as I do like it too. Mary Caliendo tea editor

I think we have the sleepytime tea here too, I forget what I thought of that. Maybe I should make up a pot! But then I'd go to sleep, and I have more work to do tonight

Chamomile is mild enough to really mix with most teas and add an element of gentle earthiness.
It's the fruity herbals I dislike - too sour for my tastes. I prefer the chamomiles, mints and mates.

We have been drinking only bag tea except the tea flower experiments. Loose tea just seems "a pain" to us right now because with the bag tea you toss the bag into the mug, pour on water, and go off to do things. We don't even take the tea bag out of the mug, and in fact Bob later adds more water to the same bag to get a second cup out of it.

Lisa, my husband does that too! I think it's yucky, but he tells me his mom taught him to that and he thinks that it is a waste, and that we should be able to get two cups out of it. Mary Caliendo Tea Editor

right my boyfriend is also of the 'why waste it when it still makes flavor' point of view. He would get 3 or 4 mugs from one if he could

We do reuse our tea bags when we "do" tea bags, but mostly we use some lovely loose teas from Teavanna and make a ritual of it. As we don't cook, we at least try to do classy teas. They really do taste better. My POV of course.
