Thinking about it, there's a lot to be said for that approach - at least you get Jar Jar Binks out of the way early on! Anyway, enjoy your film marathon.

This morning I visited the cake decorating supply shop to purchase boards, dowel rods, etc for my cousin's wedding cake. (I decorated cakes for 10 years in another life. It's much more difficult at home. Wedding is 4/19) We also got our income taxes done today (not exciting, but at least it's done) and then had a late lunch at a Mexican restaurant near the tax place. We do that every year. A tax-day tradition. smile Since we happened to drive by a Christian store, we also bought our nephew (Godson's) confirmation gift for next weekend.

Now we're just kinda chilling at home. We'll probably rent a movie and relax tonight. Sunday is chore day. I grocery shop and do laundry. Hubby trims the trees and he's been working on re-enforcing sections of the bakyard fence. We'll probably go to the dog park too. The dogs really love that.

Next weekend is already planned for us. I have a writer's meeting Saturday and our nephew's confirmation on Sunday, so I like this unplanned weekend to break things up.

We are being bad now and are having pizza two nights in a row for dinner. HAHA! Goodbye newly-achieved waistline (waves sadly.)

I just got back from a divorce party. Every one of the guests was invited to grab a paintbrush and a paint color to paint something on canvas. It is an abstract and will be hung somewhere in her house as a memory of good friends helping her start her new life.

You guys are all doing such cool stuff. My DH is out of town and I'm being a complete slug! Although I did make cookies for dinner ;-) and watched a 14-hr NCIS marathon on tv (no, I did not sit for the whole 14 hrs, at least!)

Tomorrow I'm going to breakfast with a friend, then run errands. No, it's not exciting by any means, but we've had a rough few weeks and the down time has been very needed.

I am sitting on my buitt and doing nothing. I have been working 40+ hour weeks for well over 2 months and I finally said enough is enough. I am taking my day off and doing only what I want. A little laundry (cause I need work clothes of course), getting the propane tank filled and grilling out tomorrow, and sitting on my butt.

Tonight we ordered pizza from a local place and I napped a bit and played on the net a bit.

Sometimes doing next to nothing is the best.

Pizza sounds big on the list of foods this weekend?

Actually my DH and I went and bought a needed new diningroom set, then I went and had a massage. When I got home we went to some friends house for a crawfish boil and hung there for awhile. Real nice..three couples WITH NO KIDS. This morning we are going eat breakfast at a place called the Broken Egg. The we are going run errands.

I am going buy this cd I heard last night by a band called O.A.R. anyone heard of them?

IT IS SO NICE BEING CF...I LOVE MY LIFE!!!

I'm quite jealous of everyone's exciting weekends - mine will have been spent in front of my computer, working on an extended essay which has to be handed in in two weeks' time. Still, at least I don't have any children interrupting my efforts with their incessant demands.
