....or even THIS bingo --your choice... (straight from TMC)

"Hey biotch,

hope buying all that expensive 'stuff' makes you feel better about your empty life. Keep telling me about all your material possessions because I really care and am *so* envious (-please note sarcasm-). Seriously, I think you're pathetic. I may not have all those things (need I remind you that they are just things), but I have so much more. :P"

I'm glad that you think that you have more and that my things are just meaningless. Please tell all the charities that we donate to that you think their work is meaningless and your giving birth to one more mouth to feed is so much more worthwhile. Also, your attitude is scary. I do hope that you don't pass that judgemental framework onto your children.

Bingo: Doesn't your marriage feel meaningless without children?

No. I got married because I wanted to make a commitment to my spouse, to be his family. We don't have to have children to give our relationship meaning. Sharing life's ups and downs and supporting each other as well as helping others does that for us.

(Duane's Bingo got skipped, so here it is)
Bingo:
Just wait until you have kids of your own.

Yes, but would the son want YOU? Ever think about that? Oh, no you didn't - you only thought about what YOU'D get out of it...

Bingo: Having children has made me a different person.

I wanted to answer part of Cookie's bingo, since it was two-fold: "...but money can't give you a hug or bring you a dandelion or say I love you Mommy!"

Answer: "The hugs and 'I love you's' I share with family and friends keep the home fires burning without the 25-year commitment to support them. And whatever flowers I don't buy myself, my BF fills in on days he wants to surprise me. It's quite perfect."

And now to answer freespirit: Respectable? If I were running for public office, I'd look into it. But I'm not, and I have all the respect I need in my job, my hobbies, my friendships and my relationship with my BF.

Bingo: With kids, you get to relive your youth!

Relive it? I'm still working on my own, and it's soooo much fun!

Friends won't stick by you like family does.
