Guess I'll have to find new friends then. The 25% of the female population that isn't going to have children might be a great place to start looking for some.

Bingo :

People like you need to have kids. Otherwise those Muslim types will take over the world, they all have five.

Uh, because I'm an atheist and I don't believe in God.

Bingo:
But your DH would make such a great dad. It would be cruel to deny him children. (No kidding, my MIL actually said this to me!!)

He chose to marry me and I was very up front about the fact that I've always been CF. ::Gasp!:: Could it actually be he's CF too? ::Shudder!::

Bingo:
You'll be so lonely in your old age. Who are you going to have Thanksgiving dinner with, your dogs? (I actually overheard my cousin telling my future SIL this at my bridal shower! They both laughed and laughed, thinking they knew better.)

At least the dogs would be there and more attentive and caring than the children that would not be there, because they were 5 states away and busy with their own lives!

Bingo:

Just wait until you have kids of your own...

Thanksgiving dinner with my dogs sounds wonderful. They love turkey! When they're happy, I'm happy.

Or, I'll invite my friends and neighbors over like I do now anyway.

Bingo:

But kids will keep you young.

Is that the sleepless nights, constant worrying, no time to myself and having to work AND parent in order to afford their education that is supposed to keep me young? Funny, I find that going to the theatre, travelling the world, having plenty of sleep, spending fun times with my niece and godson, and staying up to date with new technology in my job in entertainment keeps me pretty young myself.

Bingo:

There's nothing like the smell of a freshly bathed baby and feeling their lovely soft skin.

(ps - brilliant thread! It's such good practice!)

Uhmmm, actually, to me there is nothing like the smell of freshly washed laundry, the ocean, or fresh cut grass. Bathed baby...not so much.

Bingo:
Kids are what make the holidays. Before we had our kids, the holidays were just so empty. (I used to always get this one at Christmas gatherings watching the kids open presents).

How can you prove whether at this moment we are sleeping, and all our thoughts are a dream; or whether we are awake, and talking to one another in the waking state?
