Linux Lady,
Your cat is gorgeous! I get unsulted when people say the same thing about my Bulldogs. I will admit, our French Bulldog is a little bit funny-looking--his personality is so clownish, he's just plain funny all the way around--but he's NOT ugly. My Olde English Bulldog is flat out Beautiful. (She has the hugest, happiest smile.) And if a person can't see that, he's got a problem. smile

Ingelbert,
Your pups are very cute too

Agreeing that ethnic babies are the cutest. I'm white. The hubby's Hispanic. His sister's 2 1/2 year old daughter is gorgeous. She was a pretty newborn too. My best friend is half Korean, as are her kids. She had big chubby babies with gorgous almond-shaped eyes. But all my cousins' kids? Not pretty newborns. Not really even cute until they're around a year old.

Wasn't it Judy Blume who said newborns looked like plucked chickens?

Linux Lady, I'm in love with your cat! He looks like a super-soft teddy bear, but with an air of authority. Gorgeous!

Linuxlady....LOVE your cat!! He is gorgeous...I sooo wish I could pet on him!

But do I think newborns are cute...Nope. To me, all babies look alike. And I don't really think any of them are cute. Honestly, the only babies I ever see that I have any tiny urge to coo over are black babies. They are the prettiest, in my opinion.

How can you prove whether at this moment we are sleeping, and all our thoughts are a dream; or whether we are awake, and talking to one another in the waking state?

Linux Lady, I actually tend to dislike how persians look...As if someone slammed a door into a normal cat's face. wink Your guy however, has managed to balance it much better than most persians, and he has a gorgeous coat.

Aww thanks for the comments guys... I think persian kittens look so ugly that it actually makes them look cute.. their eyes are so big for their head and at wonky angles..

My sisters and I say 'he has a face carved by angels' not because we think he actually *does* but because that's what we heard once from a mother describing her kid.. so we stole the saying ;-)

My cat was given up due to a professional couple having a kid.. the evil [censored] cited 'my pregnancy and too much hair' as the reasons for giving him up.. and he came to the rescue center with an eye ulcer, ringworm, fleas, a perforated eardrum where an infection had not been treated for months and cystitus...

Thankfully he's loved and adored by me - flat face and all ;-)
