It's tempting Trisharoni, because you sound like a good neighbor, and I love Washington. But, we're hopelessly over our heads on our current fixer-upper. Sounds like a good deal though (depending on how bad it is of course).

Glad at least that the bad neighbors are gone. We had some Horrible neighbors a couple years ago...college rental with porn-themed parties of 300-400 people (talk about pornification...I've got some stories). When they moved we were SO happy, but also worried like you. We were very vocal about the problems, and the new set of renters has been much better. A fencesitting non-parent couple even!

Good luck. Imagine the best case scenario, and maybe it will come to be.

Who cares about him/her (Robotix). "It" is famous for posting something negative and then leaving the forum. I don't know if "it" is tending to a child or just a coward...or maybe both. I still find him/her entertaining...
Oh, let's see how many spelling corrections I get on the email from "it". It you don't know...Not only is "it" a "know it all" on our CF topics but "it" is also some sort of "language/spelling corrections expert" on CF forums...who knew?

Hee hee... just to give you an update, so far no one has bought the house. DH hasn't cut his hair in a while, so if he fluffs it, it looks like a huge blondish fro around his head. Whenever he sees someone looking at the house, he fluffs his hair, opens the blinds, and stares at them. It's scared a couple of families away already. It's childish, but it cracks me up. Hopefully people with a sense of humor end up buying the house.

Interesting that Robotrix has been missing in action... Not that I'm complaining. Maybe she got the hint that her postings were not welcome.

I love it! That is hilarious. Your husband is awesome.

Hopefully, you will get some cool neighbors. A couple of years ago, I had some bad neighbors. It was a lady who had all sorts of kids from different fathers and they would run around unsupervised. The older kids were teenagers, so they would throw large parties. The cops were called at least once a week. The landlord would not do anything. The other neighbors filed complaints with the city. After a while, they were kicked out of the place. Its been on the market for over a year. Bad neighbors will bring the value of your house down.

Maybe we should all pitch in and set up a CF Commune there. I may only be able to visit every couple of years but I do love Seattle.

Oooh, let's build our commune in the mountains... A gigantic log cabin with a communal jacuzzi. I'll bring the Wii! We could build our own CF chairlift so we can snowboard/ski without little kids in the way.

I am such a post hi-jacker. Or a spaz - take your pick! smile
