That must be why there's something familiar about it. I enjoyed Dead Like Me.

Yes! Bryan Fuller, who created Wonderfalls, also created Dead Like Me. He is a genius, in my opinion! smile

Very disappointed in Pushing Daisies - will not be watching it again.
I was hoping for another great show like Wonderfalls....

I happened to watch this past week's episode of Pushing Daisies and I love it too! The narration is a cute addition and it's so funny! Maybe you have to have a certain sense of humor to enjoy it.

Every fall it's a toss up as to whether or not to watch some new shows. I liked Invasion of a couple seasons ago and Jericho last year and both were cancelled in mid-story. There's been lots of others too that I liked that didn't catch on with the general audience-whoever they are.

I love the narration, too. The narrator is Jim Dale, who also narrates the Harry Potter audiobooks. I love his voice.

I'm really hoping Pushing Daisies catches on in a way that Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me did not. I can't understand why Bryan Fuller's shows have such a short shelf life. Sure, they're quirky, but they're brilliantly written and fantastic to look at. And the acting is always top-notch. Pushing Daisies is getting amazing critical reviews - hopefully that won't be the kiss of death. Hee.

I thought the narrator sounded familiar.

I am still loving it, its so quirky. I am worried about Olive and what evil she is going to get up to, you can tell something like that is coming. I LOVED seeing them finally kiss through the plastic film.

I loved the addition of the plastic wrap, too. I do find myself staring at the screen, though, looking for accidental touches between the two actors. So far they haven't broken continuity on that count!

I love this show too. I hope it's not too quirky and will find and audience and stay on the air for the long term. Danielle, I do the same thing, looking for accidental touches.

The reference to the they Might Be Giants song "Birdhouse in Your Soul" this week was great. I hope they continue to let Olive break into song; Kristin Chenoweth has an intriguing singing voice.
