Is anyone planning to watch this show? I decided to tape it tonight - I heard good reviews for it.

I'm planning on watching it just because it's getting good preliminary reviews--don't know much about it, but we're taping it too!

I had no interest in watching it but came across it last night when nothing else was on. It reminds me of something but I can't figure out what. It's narrated and the tone of the narration reminds me of something. I thought it was cute considering the main just of it:

Man has power to give life back to the dead but if he touches them again they are dead dead. If he doesn't take their life again within one minute someone else in the vicinity dies to take the person's place. He works with another guy trying to figure out how people are killed for a monetary fee. One of the people who was murder was his childhood sweetheart. He brought her back to find out who killed her and couldn't take her life again, so someone else died in her place. Now she's living with him and working on cases.

Not sure if it will make it. I think it will have a select audience.

I cannot wait to watch this show! I am a huge fan of all things Broadway, so the cast of this show is a dream come true - Jim Dale, Kristin Chenoweth, Ellen Greene, Swoosie Kurtz. Word is that Raul Esparza and Molly Shannon will have cameos in upcoming episodes.

Creator Bryan Fuller is also the creator of one of my favorite shows, Dead Like Me. Pushing Daisies looks like it will be reminiscent of that show, which is a very good thing. smile

I have recorded it but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I hooked up our new Wii in the living room where the DVR is so my daughter and her friends are monopolizing the TV.

His ability reminds me of the first episode of Torchwood where they had an alien piece of hardware that would bring someone to life for 2 minutes to find out who killed them.

I LOVE DEAD LIKE ME.
I have the entire series on DVD.
It also lead me to a series called Wonder Falls.

Hi everyone! It's the hardly watches television poster. However, Danielle told me I could do my tv watching through all of you!
Hope you don't mind.

Pushing Daisies may very well take Heroes' place as my favorite show. I loved it! The narration, the background music, the characters, the premise, the cinematography, the set and costume design, the superb writing... I could go on and on.

I got to watch my recorded show and I LOVED it. I loved the dark humour of it, it was amazing. I hope it catches on, it does seem a little off beat too me.

We watch all of the shows on the weekend since my husband teaches at night during the week.
I can't wait to see all of them!
(Heroes, Chuck, Journeyman, Boston Legal, Reaper, Ugly Betty, The Office, and Pushing Daisies!)
I only have an old fashioned VCR - and the tapes aren't too great !

Danielle:

I heard that the writers/producers behind Pushing Daisies are the same as those responsible for the short-lived wonderful show Wonderfalls. Do you remember that one? It was only on about three times before it got cancelled - my husband and I loved it!
