Indeed, tea tree is poisonous when taking it oraly. Never ingest it or you will be cleaned so well, all your organs will be gone...
It's good for longs and genital candida in aromatherapy. Since tea tree exists mostly out of terpenen-4-ol/1,8-cineol it has very big anti-fungal and anti-bacteria functions. But the para-cymene can cause allergic reactions. When the oil turns deep yellow and starts to smell resinous, don't use it any more.

You are right. Those who say that any essential oil other than some such as peppermint can be ingested are at risk.

Sometimes, Citrus Reticulata is being used in water for children when they are young. Restless kids (especially these days with ADHD) can be of help with this when they suffer from studying and get punished just because they can't sleep and are fatigued. I know this from fact, since I has the same drops into a glass of water when I was a kid. One drop is more then enough with 1.25L of water (approx. 1/3 of a gallon)
Except for that, Citrus sinensis (oranges) can be used as well.

Guess what? I give massages and reiki. More info here!

We must ensure that the oils are pure.

I am a widow raising a grandson. About ten years ago, I went to the dentist and he said, How do you stand the pain? I said, Thre is no pain because I brush my teeth with tea tree oil. I have diabetes and the way I understand, diabetes and gingivitis go hand in hand. Tea Tree Oil doesn't cure the gingivitis but it really helps keep infection down. I use Tea Tree Oil for many of the different remedies listed. Once I used it on a diabetic man's feet, which were in really bad shape, and it helped him immensely. Personally, I'd hate to live in a world without Tea Tree Oil!

I use a few drops of Tea Tree oil in my dog's shampoo when I bath them. They've never had fleas and we live in a pretty warm climate and there are squirrels running around the back yard.

We use a tree tee oil and mint based shampoo to treat eczema of the scalp (cradle cap) on the kids. This (every two or three days) and Elidel (only when its really bad) are the only things that wipe out the outbreaks.
