Someone sent this to me by email more than a year ago, and i have it posted above my computer:

Tequila and Salt

This should probably be taped to your bathroom mirror where one could read it every day. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.

2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you. (I'm not sure on this one.)

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.

5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. You are special and unique.

8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.

10. When you think the world has turned its back on you take another look.

11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.

And always remember.... the person who sent you this cares about you. And when life hands you lemons, ask for tequila and salt and call me over!

I am grateful for the indomitable spirit of PATIENCE, our 'Main' - who kept this body alive and this heart forever loving and hopeful throughout 68 years of hell.

I know the meaning of the hell you talk about. I live in that.

I am grateful for Patience who is brave enough to share Percy and Ann with us. I am grateful that Percy and Ann are there to take care of Patience when she needs a little help. I am grateful for the 3 wonderful dog friends that saved Patience's life in 2002! (I pray that your toe feels better soon!)

I am grateful for Das for reminding us of how fragile life is and how important it is for us to be careful with what we say and how we say it. I am grateful for the kindness and gentleness that Das shares with his friends. (I pray that you are not disturbed now and are happy and peaceful.)

I am grateful for Holly who gives us such insightful thoughts that make us all feel better. I am grateful for the lightness and fun that Holly brings to this site. (Especially the Tequila and Salt) It is a wonderful reminder for each of us, EVERY DAY! (I pray that God gives you continued good health, happiness and peace!)

I am so grateful today for all the loving compassion shown by so many. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
I am also grateful for the desire shown on the Spirituality forum today to gain a better understanding of DID/MPD.

I am grateful for the support given to Patience (who is doing very well) and for the loving support given to Das. And Das, I am grateful for your presence in my life.
