I am grateful for my sleep yesterday.

I am grateful for my dad... (who is also a war veteran... WWII Naval pilot)... I'm thankful for his love for me and his doing the best he could. I'm thankful that i have such an unique father.

I don't know how this place came into being, but certainly a few good souls like Mr. Mohatta and Barbara Sloan have inspired and guided the rest of us in this community, and i think we're very lucky to have such a place. Everyone has "joined the program" i think, and gives back some of the gentleness and kindness we have received... and this has made a wonderful community. Sort of a lesson for life, don't you think?

Yes, I agree, Hollyelise! My father always said to "smile and the world smiles with you!". I definitely believe in the power of positive thinking and saying what I am grateful for reminds me of the song "Count Your Blessings". Do you know it? It goes: Count your blessings, name them one by one. Count your many blessings, see what God has done...
