I always knew I never wanted kids - didn't really care for kids even when I WAS a kid. I could always be found hanging out with the adults. I can imagine parenting depresses the heck out of you. I can't imagine the rigamoroll and hassles that come with it - DAILY. It never ends. There is never anything time for yourself. Your life is not your own.
I love my Childfree life. Our 7 pets are awesome. My husband and I can come and go as we please. Spontaneity, money, free time, a clean, organized, QUIET home, you name it. Getting dressed up and going to a nice dinner, traveling, and best of all, we're not contributing to the world's over population.
