Have you made any health resolutions for the new year?

I've decided to increase how often I exercise. I started this morning and I think that as long as I have a good schedule set up, I'll be able to continue.

Right now I'm working out with a DVD but if the weather gets nicer I'll shift over to long walks outside. My dog will be happy about that too <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />.

So how about you? Any health or fitness goals for 2007?

My goal for this new year is to join the YWCA and take a yoga and a tai chi class. I also started meditating every day which is sure to help me stay healthy and relaxed!

Last year I resolved to lose 10 pounds and I did that. I also improved my diet, which I intend to keep up this coming year.

My goals are simple. Eat three healthy nutritious meals and basic exercise.

Simple goals are the best pinklulu!

The best way to have positive results when you make any change is to do things you can stick with.

My health goals is to just eat healthy, meaning no 'junk', no processed stuff, and do some form of exercise 5 days a week. Keeping it simple and staying away from 'diets' is the best way to stick with anything. Also, write your goals down, as this always helps us stay on track. Sandy

My goal is to try and not ignore posters. A thread consists of MANY posts, and I intend to read them all when I post to a thread. whistle

That said, it's time for me to quit smoking again and add some serious activity to my life. I've all ready mastered eating healthy, but it doesn't do a whole lot of good without any physical activity to accompany it.

This year I am trying to cut down portion sizes and eat more home cooked meals - especially taking my lunch to work.

We also bought ourselves and elliptical cycle for Xmas - so my plan is to exercise at least 3 times per week!

I am listening to the new audio book "You on a Diet" - its pretty interesting though in parts a little technical!

Good luck Dani! You're right up I35 from me. grin

I've never had any luck with audio books, nothing sinks in. I have to actually READ the words. That's one book I've been wanting to pick up.

Of course, it's too danged cold this weekend/coming week to even get out of the house.

My goals are simple and there are just few of them:
Include more fruits and vegetables in my diet, eliminate unhealthy foods as much as possible, more exercise.
