So many Christians claim to be doing things 'in the name of Jesus', when their actions are pretty vile. They spiritually abuse others with their hell-fire and end times scenarios, for instance. We see faith healers, who are charlatans, claiming to heal in the name of Jesus and then blaming their victims when the cure doesn't materialise.
I supect that Jesus would not be a very happy bunny if he was here today, and would refute the things that are done in his name!

I am simply flabberghasted by the Television American evangelists who purport to be the Voice of God, charge exhorbitant rates for their services, but are then exposed to be drug addicts, adulterers and thieves (they get the money and Faith of people on false pretences. That's stealing....) and then they have the gall to try to find excuses, or to justify their behaviour as Satan leading them astray!
Gimme a break! If Satan can get to them, what hope for the rest of us - ?? <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely, and the Love of Money is the Root of all evil... I cannot figure out why good, honest christian citizens put up with such scum....

I think it is very wrong to claim anything in the name of God/Jesus, we are responsible for our own actions, they are nothing to do with god!

Yes, I often hear people saying 'I was tempted by the Devil' but they take it generally as their own credit and following God's word, when they are good....
Never heard 'God made me do it!'<img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

In the Old Testament all sorts of evil was performed in the name of God!

Yes, but the new Testament, particlarly the Gospels, are full of extremely pertinent and wise teachings... We consider Jesus to have been a Boddhisttva - one dedicated to the good of others, at the detriment of his own well-being... In fact, an awful lot of his teachings are very 'Buddhist' in flavour'.....!

How to make sure that anybody was divine? Can we say this about any one?

We know Jesus as a great prophet, I have a question about your religion and concept, dare I ask? Do you recognize Jesus as a God? I mean Christians. Last summer I have been in Armenia and visited a great cathedral in Yerevan named Etchmiatzin. I asked this question from a priest there. He tried to describe me for nearly 15 minutes but he chose sophisticated way and after that I found out didnt get my answer. I supect that Jesus would not be a very happy bunny if he was here today, and would refute the things that are done in his name! Why he would be annoyed? Maybe they havent paid his royalty! Just kidding

There are no proofs about divinity of Jesus or Buddha.
