Hard to say. Heaven knows there are plenty of people out there who are irresponsible and get it and who don't know it. But for those of us who know without a doubt that we have not engaged in any behaviors that could cause us to be infected, it seems pointless. Honestly I wouldn't care so much as it's a simple blood test, but I'd be d*a*m*ned if I'd be paying my own money for a test I knew I didn't need but that my doctor insisted on anyway...
