Are these drugs prescription? I've been using Aleve and found I had sleep apnea so the VIPAPP machine works wonders, but yet there's something missing and I'm only 80% there. I am lying in bed and my cat will walk up my body and each step she takes causes excrutiating pain. Is'nt it disgusting how doctors are so indifferent to fibromyalgia? Three doctors now have just brushed me aside on it. No cure, no known cause, no interest. UGH!!

I have an 8 yr old boy who I have to care for. My pain = excruciating. Fatigue = Like a wet noodle. The fatigue wuz the hardezt thing to accept. Alleve didn't work for me. ULTRAM iz non-narcotic & haz to be prezcribed by a doctor. The Neurontin too. But together, itz like a miracle. I have energy again, not buzzing or heart racing. I would try to talk to your doctor. Many are behind the 8 ball & many think Fibro iz in our headz. Zorry about the keying. Guezz which key iz mizzing on my keyboard? LOL

I need help with the disability process.
I appears my atty is in trouble and not filing in my behalf for my appeals. i have been doing it.
Please direct me.

I'm sorry did the mear mention of disability turn sour?

It has come to my attention that not only has my atty not filed in my behalf, but flat out lied. I had to go the state political level, allow them access to my files and they reaffirmed that NO action was taken and implied in my area that a former employee's sole job was to wait out claims for maximum monetary gain for the firm. On my denial I noted half of my medical records and doctors were not used and I paid for those records and provided them to the atty. That atty. will not give me copies of what I paid for.

In fact, I contacted the atty's office, was told my request for a hearing was underway and the state officials said 'nope, not a word in your behalf'.

How does one find an ethical attorney?
The 'Dire need clause' was missed, ended up losing my home and savings and now almost to the point of losing my home that I rent.

I have now paid for again, records from various doctors, hospital records and have letters of character of people who have known me for at least 17 years.

Why is it that every drunk and drug addict in town has disability and those of us who worked for years, paid our taxes and hit the skids in our health are not helped.

I have tried every natural alternative known to man. I worked in the herbal and supplemental field for years while also worked as a certified pharmacy technician.

I am no stranger to any of this.
There is no panacea.

What works for some will not for others.
Been there done that.

Do you have a diary of your symptoms over the years? I hear that's helpful in court. People don't understand our losses.

i'm sorry to hear about you trouble with that atty. i wonder if that is why, when i was in the process of getting my disability several years ago, my atty office did not take note of my new address and failed to notify me of my hearing. i always take notes when i call someplace important. i listed the date, time & name of the woman i had given my new address to. i just happened to call the atty to see how things were going, and was told that since they couldn't contact me, i was denied for disability because i was a no-show at the hearing. i won on appeal, but i didn't use an atty that time. i handled it myself. i wrote down everything i wanted the board to know about my new & improved life with fm and i read from it. i told the people there that since fog had taken away my memory, i had to read from a prewritten script, and they sat and listened. i didn't hold anything back, i told it like it was and won.
