Ok, i'll start from the beginning, I dyed my hair yday, it was virgin hair.

I used L'Oreal feria golden flash brown with lightener. I left the product on for as long as needed and when i looked at my hair it had gone ginger!

And I mean really ginger, you can see the red strands of hair in the sunlight and it looks bad. Not only that, it it lighter at the top of my head, almost blonde. My hair colour was originally dark brown. I was advised to use a wash in/wash out colour and got a brown packet and it has darkened the hair so now its this colour:

What do i do? I have a wedding to go to tomorrow and a new job in the City wednesday. Can I dye on top of this colour dark brown and if the red is still there do a blue rinse? I was told that the red will sat in my hair until it grows out, is this true?

HELP!!

Ashen tones should negate the red tinge. The gold was what probably made your hair appear red to begin with. It happens to my hair too. Anything with a hint of gold to it will turn it red-gold.

Make sure to wash it really well with a clarifying shampoo before applying the next color.

Best of luck to you!

I would at least shampoo and condition it a couple of times, not each one after the other. If the color is dreadfull and you really hate walking around with the ginger, you can wash and condition it a couple of times, but it isn't going to be much of use...
If you can at least stand it for a while, it could be possible that the hair gets a bit darker, but it's a permanent coloring, so I'm not sure if it works the same like semi-/demi-permanent colorings.

Guess what? I give massages and reiki. More info here!
