It looks like an aglicized spelling of D'Artagnan (a character from The Three Musketeers), which is pronounced something like "dar-TAN-yon."

The worse name I have ever heard was Valarie Valentine. I was born on Valentine and that is what my sister wanted to name me.. Thank god it didn't happen.

I dont know Valarie Valentine is alot better then beaitch or basstord!!! I hope cps take the kids and rename them!!! she is a BAD MOM even with out calling her kids that!!! I when to school with a guy with the last name Rhea (RAY) but everyone called him re- ah and his wifes name is Dainah so you get diarriha and he wanted to name his little girl Gonna!!! i also went to school with Amanda Hold =a man to hold. i worked with a Justin Thyme his mom thought it was funny sents she was in labor 3 hr after the wedding!!! and guess who he married amanda hold the wedding was a blast!!! but you can imagine the jokes that flew!!!! the A man to Hold Just in time wedding was just a start!!!

Okay, here's one. A few years ago, my mom told me about a birth announcemnet she read in her local paper. The baby boy was named Hickory. He has a sister named Honey. The last name is Hamm.

So what are the middle names.....Smoked and Baked? LOL

I wish parents would have a little forsight into the lives of their children when they name them instead of thinking of something that's "cute" or a joke.

For me, the worst baby name I heard is Binga, it's like a female version of Bingo.

This is a true story, my second used Binga as a nickname to her baby girl. Why? because she loves the name Bingo. She said if ever she will have a baby boy ahe will surely name him Bingo.

I have lots of names I dont like lol...

Boris and Bridgette are a couple I dont particularily like. When I worked at a call center, I swear I came arcoss and had to call Harry Dyck, and Jason Death. There were so many names that just made me crack up! Unfortunately I cant remember them at the moment

But there are so many names that you just dont hear anymore that arent neccesarily bad, but ones that you just dont think of naming a baby, or that suit an older person but not a baby, like Gladys or Eugene.
